EDI Message Add-Ons

With the EDI module you have the possibility to create any number of mappings to convert EDI messages between different message types. There are no restrictions on the maximum number of mappings or partners. The in-house side can be freely defined. The EDI module includes the EDI Conversion Manager tool, which allows you to create new mappings or in-house formats and edit existing ones. This allows you to react flexibly to changing requirements of your partners or in-house systems.

By licensing message types via the Message Add-Ons, they can be displayed in the EDI Inbox and Outbox, evaluated, printed and optionally converted and imported/exported. Depending on the message type, the range of functions for displaying and printing varies. For example, message type VDA 4913 can be used to print goods tags according to VDA 4902 as well as goods accompanying slips according to VDA 4912. Using the Add-On ZUGFeRD add-on, the ZUGFeRD XML data can be extracted from received ZUGFeRD PDF files or attached to an externally generated PDF before sending.

The EDI module automatically recognizes the message type when accepting EDI messages, both import and export, and processes the message accordingly. This can be done completely automatically without user intervention or manually by the user.
