Channel Add-Ons

!MC5 enables data transmission according to common industry standards and supports a wide range of protocols and formats. The different modules allow an unlimited number of partner connections. For some modules, however, the number of simultaneous, parallel connections is limited by the number of licensed channels.

In concrete terms, this means that only as many shipping orders can be processed simultaneously as there are channels licensed for the respective module. Additional shipping jobs are only executed as soon as one of the running jobs is completed and thus a channel becomes free. If all channels of a module are "occupied" and an incoming connection is made via the corresponding protocol in the meantime, this connection is accepted in order to inform the business partner that the service is basically available. However, the connection is then disconnected transparently with a corresponding error message for the other side. This signals to the other side that it can try the transmission again at a later time.

For all modules to which this applies, one channel is always included in the basic module. If required, you can expand the capacity for additional simultaneous connections at any time by purchasing additional channel licenses. This way you can flexibly adapt !MC5 to the specific requirements of your business processes.

Available Channel Add-Ons

Expands the number of licensed FTP/S Channels of the FTP/S Client module and thus the amount of simultaneous, parallel connections. One FTP/S Channel is already included in the Module FTP/S Client. If necessary, you can expand the capacity for simultaneous FTP client connections by purchasing additional FTP/S Channel licenses.

Expands the number of licensed OFTP/TCP channels in the Module OFTP nd thus the amount of simultaneous, parallel connections. An OFTP/ISND channel or OFTP/TCP channel is already included in the Module OFTP. If required, you can expand the capacity for simultaneous OFTP connections by purchasing additional OFTP Channel licenses.

Expands the number of licensed OFTP2 channels in the Module OFTP2 and thus the amount of simultaneous, parallel connections. One OFTP2 channel is already included in the Module OFTP2. If needed, you can expand the capacity for simultaneous OFTP2 connections by purchasing additional OFTP2 channel licenses.

Expands the number of licensed SFTP Channels of the Modules SFTP Client and SFTP Server and thus the amount of simultaneous, parallel connections. SFTP channels are always available to both the Modules SFTP Client and the Module SFTP Server. One SFTP channel is already included in each module. If necessary, you can expand the capacity for simultaneous SFTP connections by purchasing additional SFTP Channel licenses.
